Jerry G. Smith, 81, of Port Richey, Florida, passed away on July 26th, 2026. He is survived by his children Ronald Smith, Randy Allen Smith and Cathryn (Steve) Oetjen; grandson Owen Oetjen; brother Bob Smith, fiance Susan Acree; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Dad I will miss our nightly talks.I miss you so much. I love you so very much. I will also miss our fishing trips that we used to take. You gave me some awesome memories from camping to vacations.And you support what I did growing up. I am proud of you Dad. Let Patches and Bruno and Teddy sit on your lap.

I know you’re in your favorite happy place meeting family, friends and enjoying so many you haven’t seen for so long. You’re also going to be an amazing angel watching over everyone you love that are still here. I remember all of the family reunions with all of our families even tho I was much younger.. hope you’re resting in your paradise 🙏
