Jerry James Brock passed away on Thursday, September 10th, 2026. He was 65 years old.
He was born in Saginaw Michigan and lived in Florida for 42 years. He worked in the loan department at Bank of America.
He made his home and community at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Port Richey, Florida where he was leader of outreach and of the praise and worship group Faith Factor.
When he had free time Jerry enjoyed fishing, watching sports, listening to music, and dining with his family. He was a classically trained musician, played the organ, piano, sang bass in choir, and was picking up the guitar again in his retirement. He enjoyed exploring Florida, collecting pottery, antiquing, and loved a good deal.
His favorite place in the world was Carp Lake Michigan, where he spent many summers.
He’s survived by his wife of 43 years, Colene, two children, John and Jennifer, his brother Kurt, and two nieces, Kelly and Laura.
In lieu of flowers, you can send donations to Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church.
A service will be held at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church on September 26th at 10:30am with a lunch service to follow.

I have nothing but fond, funny and enlightening memories of Jerry. He was everyone’s go to person in lending. It was a pleasure and a joy to have the opportunity to work with him. He will be missed by so many. ((Hugs))🙏

Wayne and I are still trying to wrap our heads around this, we remember the first parade will all did on the back of the flatbed truck. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Dear Family,
I appreciated the knowledge and talents that Jerry had. He was so helpful with advice for me when it was time for me to sign up for my Social Security and Medicare. He had great knowledge of electrical work and remodeling especially for his Parents in law new space due their aging and illness. His cooking was fantastic when we were all together at the Lake. Our family table will never be the same at Carp Lake. You have been missed and will continue to be missed. You dear Brother In Law have fought the good fight and have now earned your heavenly reward. Well done good and faithful servant. Colene, John, Jennifer and Derek please know your all in my thoughts and prayers as you journey through this path of grief ahead of you. Much love to you all.
