It is with a very, very sad heart that Brenda Spencer announces the sudden passing of Joanne Pizzuto on August 25, 2025.

Joanne was born on August 29, 1933 to Rose and Salvatore Pizzuto, in Massachusetts. She is survived by her wife of 31 years, Brenda Spencer, and a sister, Betty Donato, a brother, Phillip Pizzuto, a son, Joseph Gardner, and nieces, Toni Marie Staiti, Andrea Forte, Angela Trementozzi, and her two little Yorkie dogs, Sammy and Itty Bit. Joanne was loved by all that knew her. She was definitely one of a kind, irreplaceable. Everyone knew where she stood on everything because she always spoke her mind.  She was the best barber in all of Florida and loved to sing and play her guitar.

A Memorial Service will be held at Dobies Funeral Home in Hudson, FL, on Thursday, September 4th from 1pm to 2pm.
