Joanne R. Rinaldi passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Charles Rinaldi. Joanne was a 1951 graduate of Central Catholic High School of Toledo, Ohio where she grew up in the North End. She was at least a 30 year employee of the Federal Government both in Toledo, Ohio and then retiring from the Federal Probation office of Cleveland, Ohio.

Joanne is preceded in death by her husband in June of 2021, her parents Abraham and Sarah Sodd, her siblings, Elizabeth (Ed) Boger, William Sodd, Ellis (Delphine) Sodd, Mildred (Thomas) Bland and Sr. Maria Goretti O.S.F. She is survived by her sister Caroline Bukovics and her brother Dr. Vincent Sodd. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews along with their children.

Joanne has spent the last 4 years enjoying the warm weather and amenities of living in New Port Richey, Florida especially after the passing of her husband. Therefore, a funeral mass will be held on ____________ at _________ in her parish church of St. Thomas Aquinas, 8320 Old County Road 54, New Port Richey, Florida 34653. There will be a graveside prayer service at Holy Cross Cemetery, St. Jude Mausoleum, 14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park, Ohio 44142. The date and time have yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sisters of St. Francis, Sylvania, Ohio, St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church or any charity of your choice in Joanne’s name.
