John “Frankie” Farnell Jr.

September 06, 1966~May 19, 2024

John “Frankie” Farnell Jr, 57, of Shady Hills, Florida, passed away on May 19th, 2024, at his home with his wife by his side after a long and courageous battle with Prostate Cancer.

Frankie was preceded in death by his dad John “Frankie” Farnell Sr, and leaves behind his beloved wife Lisa, Son Shane, Mother Ginger (Ron) Derkovitz, Brother Brandon (Frances). Frankie also leaves behind his beloved pets Nig Nig, Indigo, Jaxson, and Lil Dude, as well as many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and 2nd Cousins.

Frankie was born on September 9, 1966, in Dunedin Florida. One of his best qualities was the ability to make you laugh at the most appropriate and sometimes inappropriate times. He was clever and very witty. Frankie was a commercial Shrimper for 40 years and the knowledge he takes with him is unparalleled. It will be missed by so many. Frankie liked to sit in his backyard by the fire with his dogs, drinking Budweiser from a can, and listening to his favorite music he had loaded on his phone. He liked to watch the birds at the feeders in the morning while drinking coffee and taking a ride on his bike on a nice day. He liked to hunt, sometimes fish, and maybe even shoot a little pool if the company was right. But most of all, he liked to just hang out in his home with his wife and pets, watching Yellowstone, The Closer and early seasons of Greys Anatomy. He is cherished by his loved ones and his absence will never go unnoticed. Rest in Peace now my love, until we meet again….

I Love You Frankie Always

Forever Your Love, Ethel (Lisa)

Frankie is being Cremated and there will be a “Celebration of Life” at a date later to be determined.
