Joyce Ann Johnson, 87, of New Port Richey, FL, passed away on 9/13/2026. She went peacefully at home with family. She was born on 10/20/1938 in Sayre, PA to Howard & Alice Bidlack. She moved to New Port Richey in 1974 when her husband retired from the military.  Joyce worked in local child care centers through the years as well as caring for her grandchildren.

Joyce leaves behind her daughter Michele Ann Schoggins (James) of New Port Richey, Grandchildren Richele Ann Allen of New Port Richey -Timothy Johnson (Erin) of Chester, PA – Justyn Johnson (Markie Gourley & son Kyron) of Springhill, FL – Jaryd Johnson (Summer) – Great grandchildren Flynn & Paisley of New Port Richey, FL.

Joyce be was preceded in death by her husband Earl E (Gene) Johnson, sons Michael E (Gator) & Jeffrey Johnson, all of New Port Richey, FL.

Services to be held Sat 9/26/26 at Dobies Funeral Home on Congress St in New Port Richey, FL at 1 pm.
