Judith was born on 12/13/1932 in Newark Delaware to the parents of Charles Robert and Elizabeth Edna Kase. She was a Professor of the Arts at USF for approximately 32 years. She was the founder and longtime head of AATE’s International Center for the Studies in Theatre Education. This award was created in her honor the “Judith Kase Cooper Honorary Research Award” This is awarded to its long-standing members and scholars who have contributed significantly to the development of theory and research in the field of drama/Theatre and Education.
She enjoyed attending church, gardening, swimming, reading and most of all dancing and traveling with her husband Jack Cooper.
She is also survived by her step children Patricia, Doreen and Jeff, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was an elegant, smart and witty Lady who will be missed immensely by her family and friends.
A memorial Service will be held at a later date due to the Covid-19
