Julie Louise Elliott of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, in Palm Harbor, Florida.
She was born on October 24, 1941, to Deon Elliott and Mary Belcher Elliott in Montgomery, Alabama.
Julie was a 1959 graduate of Tarpon Springs High. She attended Florida State University and graduated from Converse College in South Carolina.
Julie is survived by her children Kendra Curtis and Scott Curtis (Maria), and her granddaughters Geena Bruno, Ashley Curtis and Claudia Curtis. She also is survived by her brothers Paul Elliott (Linda), Rick Elliott, and Mark Elliott, all of Tarpon Springs. She was preceded in death by her loving sister and adventure partner Mary Elliott Foil (Keith).
Julie was outgoing, sincere, friendly, kind-hearted, and fun-loving and had a keen wit. She loved animals and as a teenager she won various riding competitions on her beloved horse Frosty. She was a longtime realtor in Tarpon Springs and later in Kailua, Hawaii where she worked alongside her daughter Kendra. She and her high school bestie Sharon Dailey Sawyer were Homecoming Queens and lifelong friends. Julie was compassionate and generous and for years after retirement she enjoyed delivering meals to those who were homebound.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Meals on Wheels America in memory of Julie.
A Celebration of Julie’s Life will take place at a future date.

Julie was a dear soul who was a tremendous help to our family when mother was selling her home of over sixty years. In high school she was always kind to the lower classmates. Very sad times saying goodbye to Julie. 🙏
