Justin S. Yerby passed away peacefully 09/09/2020, he was a liked long resident of Pinellas County but recently became a resident of Marion County with his beloved fiancé Jeannie Piotrowski.

Justin is preceded in death by his brother Shayne Yerby, cousin Taylor Mouser, grandparents Nancy and Charles Mouser, grandfather Earnest Matacotta, and many other loved ones.

Justin graduated from Dunedin High School and attended Pinellas Technical Education Center for Auto Mechanics. Justin also served in the United States Army’s National Guard. He was employed as a machinist for Douglas Machines corporation in Pinellas County.

He leaves behind his mother Olga Matacotta, his father’s Clayton Mouser and Karl Yerby, his sister’s Kelsey Mouser and Shanna Yerby-Olson, his nieces Alycia, Emma, Kyla, Aubrey, Camy and nephew Hayden. His fiancé Jeannie Piotrowski, his uncle’s Ernest Matacotta and Bob Calvillo, his Aunt’s Sandra Ward and Linda Calvillo and so many more.

Justin was a hard worker that took pride in any work that he did. He loved fishing, the beach, nature, and plants, but most of all working on his new property with the love of his life, Jeannie Piotrowski. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and of course his bearded dragon named, “toothless.” Justin was a free spirit who never coward away from being his authentic self. Justin was a peaceful and forgiving person who loved beyond measure. Whether it was nature, people, or animals his love touched all that were lucky to encounter him in unexplained amounts. His wild and crazy spirit is something that no one will ever be able to forget. The world was lucky to have him, even if only for a short time.

brother we had a lot of fun hanging out. Your passion for cars, movies and too many things that I cannot even list here have left many great memories with me and many others. I hope you are at peace and am very sad at your passing. RIP

We are so saddened to find out that Justin passed away. We knew him a long time ago and just looked at a picture we have of him when he was 16. So very sorry and our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Deepest sympathy.

We spent a lot of time during our adolescence and high school. We had some incredible times. Will never forget the times we spent skateboarding, listening to music and all the other mischievous actions we did as kids!! Lol!! Wish we could of meet up and caught up brother. Cheers my friend!!

Justin, I am so very heart broken that you were taken way too soon. I can not explain my pain or my heavy feet. You filled my life with happiness and I will miss you and Shayne until my last breath.I love and will forever miss you my son. xo
