Keith Aumaugher, 96, of Brooksville, FL passed away June 10 at Gulfside Hospice at Heather Hills. Keith formerly lived in Ithaca and Flint, MI and served in US Army during World War II. He married Muriel Pagel November 6, 1946 (she predeceased him in 2011). He worked at General Motors Buick Motor Division for 40 years, and then he enjoyed 40 years of retirement. He was avid golfer who played into his 90s at Brookridge (often shooting his age or better). Keith was also proud to be a member of Clio CC and Davison CC. When his wife’s health began to fail, he quickly picked up many household duties and care giving responsibilities. He is survived by daughter Jolene Peacock of Sarasota, FL, son Barry Aumaugher (wife Connie Cole) of Davisburg, MI, son James Aumaugher of Brooksville, FL, grandson Dr. Zachary Peacock (wife Dr. Carolyn Coppe Peacock) of Lexington, MA, granddaughter Dr. Elizabeth Peacock (husband Jake Rodrigue) of New Orleans, LA, and great-grandsons Gregory and Trent Peacock of Lexington, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.
