My friend, you left me too soon through that door.
I won’t see you for ever more
l’Il miss our walks, our secret talks.
I know you now can rest
Where you’re going, you’ll be at your best
Your strength, your wisdom, your kind words, I
will cherish.
In my heart, you will never perish.

I wish that there was a way to turn back time. To enjoy even the littlest moments with Kelly just a little bit longer. Life gets busy and changes, but warm memories of Kelly will remain with me always.

She was a friend I could talk with, share stories of our kids with, laugh at dumb stuff, (which was usually me doing the dumb stuff). She was smart, devoted to Craig and her family, and a great mom.

I pray that she is in Heaven, free of any pain, and restored in spirit and health. Her essence lives on in Ryan, Danny and Jacquelyn, who she and Craig have shaped into remarkable young adults. I love and will miss her greatly. Rest In Peace Kelly.

Kelly was one of my wunderkinds at Gulf Junior in 1979 & 1980. I enjoyed her spirit, compassion, and intelligence for 8th grade English & yearbook class. She was motivational and inspiration to her peers and to me. Later we reconnected when she was an English teacher at River Ridge High in 1992. I was sad to see her leave. But I was thrilled when she returned as a River Ridge Middle School English teacher years later. I cherish the moments I had with her as a young woman and as an adult. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones. Her energy & presence will be missed.

You will be greatly missed, Miss Kelly. Olivia has kept all your cards and letters from the last three years in a kelly green box with gold dots. We think “kelly green” could be your favorite color. Olivia has held on to the flashlight she used in VPK and has kept it by her bedside all these years. She said the flashlight means so much now more than ever. Thank you for being a light in our lives. I believe in the eternal nature of families and I know that this is but a temporary parting. You mean so much to our family and I know you have touched the lives of so many families in a million different ways.

I will always fondly remember Kelly as an integral part of my classroom. Kelly was part of a wonderful group of moms who volunteered in my classroom. She was a dedicated parent and was always willing to lend a hand and a smile. Although many years have passed, the memories and her gentle ways have never been forgotten.

I had the privilege of working with Kelly at St. Thomas Aquinas Early Childhood Center several years ago. She was so kind, joyful, and loving to her students and I learned a lot from her. She will be dearly missed.
