Kurt Garvey departed this Earth on May 4, 2021, in Florida after a struggle with cancer. He was born on December 11, 1957, in Clearfield, PA, to Elmer and Wilma Garvey, who both preceded him in death. Kurt was married to Bonnie Mae (Russell) Garvey on August 8, 1992, in San Marcos, CA where they met and lived until 2002. They retired and moved to Florida in May 2017 where they enjoyed life to the fullest. Traveling, riding his Harley, and making lots of friends along the way were among his favorite hobbies.

Kurt is survived by his wife, Bonnie of their home; two stepsons, Keith Sekerke of San Diego, CA and Stosh Sekerke and his wife, Amanda, of San Marcos, CA; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; a sister, Lila Harlan, and husband, John of San Marcos, CA; a sister, Betty Yost, and husband, Ron of Oil City, PA; a brother, Fred Garvey, and wife, Char of Conneaut Lake, PA; and a brother, Eric Garvey, (Patti) of Linesville, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece.
