Dad,

You are the best man I have ever known and will ever know. You have the biggest heart and made me the father I am today. I would do anything to be the Dad you were to Kara and I. Not one person in this world can compete with your generosity. If you could you would give Heather and I everything for you to have nothing. I don’t think I will ever get over you being gone, I’ll still be waiting for your calls and waiting for you to show up unannounced with lunch for us. You knew how loved you were by our family but I don’t think you know how much you were loved by many many others. I love and will miss you forever Dad until we meet again.

You left us way too soon my friend. Our friendship is one I will always cherish. It's a very somber day today at the airport. Peace and condolences to the entire Schlosser family during such a difficult time. God Bless

I got the news yesterday and my heart sank to the floor, You were a great friend and the best workout partner a guy could ask for. We hadn’t had a chance to hang out for awhile now and that really sucks. I loved seeing you with your kids as you were never happier then when you were talking about them,. I’m sure by now you are hugging Kara and Rocco giving them all the love they can handle. It’s not goodbye just goodbye for now.

Kurt always had a smile and made others smile. We became friends quickly when he first came to Maine, but that had nothing to do with me, he made friends with everyone quickly. I will never forget him and as long as he is remembered he will always live in our memory and our hearts.

My condolences to the family during this hard time. I worked with Kurt for many years in TPA and he was one of the hardest workers we had, never complained and always had a sweet smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers during this very sad time.

The memories are long-standing. I don’t even know if you know how important you were to me and my children. You helped them so much in life and gave them a sense of what it meant to be a father. That was your gift that you knew best! You will be missed but you will always be in our hearts!

Kurt, you were a mentor to me in the beginning of my now, 26 year career. I always looked up to you. In charge, funny, and a leader. Wish we worked together longer!
