You are the best man I have ever known and will ever know. You have the biggest heart and made me the father I am today. I would do anything to be the Dad you were to Kara and I. Not one person in this world can compete with your generosity. If you could you would give Heather and I everything for you to have nothing. I don’t think I will ever get over you being gone, I’ll still be waiting for your calls and waiting for you to show up unannounced with lunch for us. I got the news yesterday and my heart sank to the floor, You were a great friend and the best workout partner a guy could ask for. We hadn’t had a chance to hang out for awhile now and that really sucks. I loved seeing you with your kids as you were never happier then when you were talking about them,. I’m sure by now you are hugging Kara and Rocco giving them all the love they can handle. It’s not goodbye just goodbye for now.

Kurt always had a smile and made others smile. We became friends quickly when he first came to Maine, but that had nothing to do with me, he made friends with everyone quickly. I will never forget him and as long as he is remembered he will always live in our memory and our hearts.
