I will never forget you, dear cousin Larry, you were like a brother I never had, we sang together in Sunday school, went fishing, camping, climbed trees, skated, rode bikes, always competing. You usually won. You welcomed Ed into our family, took the wedding pics at Curlew.

Larry was always a welcoming face at the Sutton reunion and a wealth of information. I will miss him, but I’m sure he is so happy to be with friends and relatives that have gone before.

Larry was one of the nicest men I have ever known. He loved to tease & joke in his gentle way & was always smiling, just like I remember his mother, Mary Sutton Jenkins did. We will miss him but I know he is happy to be together with his beloved Harriet again and in the presence of God.

Larry was a joyous, loving cousin. Several times Larry took me as his “date” to school dances. We both loved music as almost all Sutton descendants did. Always looked forward to his greeting us at the door for our Sutton reunions. Larry will be missed. Jeannette Saunders Flynn and Jim Flynn

Larry was truly one of a kind. He loved people, history, family… and the combination of all these. He made you feel important, and wanted the family heritage held high by every generation. He was a gentleman, and great example for us all. He will be missed. Already is! —T&C

Condolences to Larry’s family. He was the one that gave me a chance and hired me to start my County IT career almost 35 years ago. R.I.P.
