Leola Orsagos of Clearwater, Florida, formally of Lamont, Florida, passed away September 13th, 2023, at Morton Plant Hospital surrounded by her family.  She was the widow of Thomas Orsagos, they shared 61 years of marriage together.

Leola was born January 29th, 1939, to Charles and Stella Hubener.  After being a stay at home mother until all of her children were in school, she was employed by Calvary Catholic Cemetery for 20 plus years as a secretary.

She was a long time member of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Lamont, Florida, prior to moving back to Clearwater following the death of her husband in 2022.

She enjoyed feeding people, cooking and baking, camping with friends and family, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Thomas G. Orsagos, Maryann (Ed) Hale, Charles Orsagos, and Christopher (Jennifer) Orsagos; her four grandchildren Amanda, Kailey, Nicholas and Alec; one great-granddaughter Isabella; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Thomas B Dobies Funeral Home, Holiday Chapel 4910 Bartelt Rd. Holiday on Sunday September 17, 2023 from 3-5 PM. Funeral mass will be at St Vincent de Paul 4843 Mile Stretch Dr. Holiday on Monday September 18 at 11:30 AM, with a graveside service to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
