Linda Ann Paltridge

February 02, 1962~April 01, 2026

Our Beloved Ms. Linda Ann Paltridge of Holiday Florida was called home on April 1st, 2026 at 5:38pm. She was surrounded by her loving daughters Torie and Mandie Paltridge. She is survived by her grand-daughter Adaleigh Rosado, her four siblings Rose-Marie Alonge, Kenneth Creasy, Joesph Romeo, Marc Romeo. Along with a very substantial list of loved nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. Linda was predeceased by her adored grandparents Rose & Raymound LaMothe, her father Kenneth Creasy, her mother Simone Creasy, and her non-biological but a true father Joesph Romeo.

Linda was born on February 2nd, 1962, in Schenectady New York and lived the earliest part of her life in Brooklyn New York. She spent most of her childhood with her adored grandparents, siblings, and cousins. Linda often reminisced on the early years, sharing moments of city life; before her family moved to the country life in the Hudson Valley. Linda went to Marlboro Schools. After graduating high school, she got her hair cutting license. Linda was a goal orientated woman who inevitably ended up marrying and having her “girls” with her high-school crush. In life she had a passion for animals, cars, and making people look their best with the latest haircuts and best perms one could get!

Linda spent most of her life working for local car shops, and dealerships. She earned many GM awards including best salesperson of the year! Nights and weekends she spent working in salons or as everyone’s favorite supervisor at Price Chopper. Linda was always deemed the “most dependable & trustworthy worker.” To no surprise Linda’s dedication to careers and her “girls,” became her life. Linda wasn’t just a mom; Linda was a true friend to the “girls,” their friends, her friends, family, and all of her coworkers.

Many years later came Adaleigh her granddaughter. Just when you thought she couldn’t love someone more than her girls, Adaleigh became the ultimate light of her life. Linda, now Nana got to spend most of her time with Ad. Nana was one of a kind; always had all the special stuff that Adaleigh loved and watched all the same silly shows over and over. The two loved making family recipes but most of all enjoyed making Christmas cookies together every year. Everything a grandparent looks forward to; Linda relished in being Nana daily.

Ms. Linda Ann Paltridge had a long history of medical issues and triumphing through them for many years. Linda faced life entirely with a positive outlook. A very special soul, who was feisty, loving, so funny, and the most unselfish person anyone crossed paths with. The girls will always find comfort in all the years of precious memories shared together. They had a lifelong saying, “The power of three!” That they will always be! They’re forever grateful that they were all together that April 1st, 2026, in Linda’s final moment.

Please take in joy when you think of moments you shared with Linda. As well as Admiration of this beautiful soul. Forever remembered as the strongest, selfless, caring, independent woman; she strived to be.

Greatly missed. Endlessly loved. Never forgotten.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that you join them in a Potluck Celebration of Life on June 13th, 2026, starting at 12 pm located at The Pavillion in Cluett Schantz Memorial Park of Marlboro New York. At what we all know as “Round Pond” This is an open celebration with no alcohol permitted. All are welcomed to join! If you’d like to contribute to the potluck, please reach out to one of the girls. Thank you.

I am so so sorry and sad to hear about Linda’s passing. We were very good friends years ago in our early school days, I have so many great memories. I was in her wedding when she married Rich. We connected again on Facebook but somehow lost touch. I will always remember her smiling , that was Linda.
Rest in peace Angel 🙏❤️
