My deepest sympathy to Diane and Family. I am blessed to have been part of the Tobacco Hut Fraternity for a long time. I always looked forward to those Friday late afternoons all week. So many memories and friendships were forged at the Hut. Lou was a class act and kept us laughing. Its comforting to know Lou is reunited with Ms. Dotty and is kicking back with a Cigar. RIP Lou.. Thanks for the memories..

The first day I met Lou I told him that he was going to be “my new best friend”.He looked at me Like “WHATEVER”…as it turned out we became not only best friends but family. I love you old guy and will miss you dearly.

Lou was a part of my Saturday ritual every single week. Enjoying a pipe or cigar at The Tobacco Hut and its cast of characters was greatly anticipated each week. So many memories were made there and, thanks to Lou, I became best friends with many of them. With Dotty's passing, and now Lou's, the world just isn't the same.

Suspenders say it all, Lou was his own man! Husband & Dad,he loved his girls to pieces and speaking of pieces…Belgin chocolate is 2nd on that list. He showed me care and respect from day one. Never waivered from his duties, loved his country & was always ready to make a new friend. Respect to you my dear friend & I'm happy you graduated from this life to go back home and be with Dotty. Love you!

The entire Lacey family would like to extend our condolences to Diane for her loss of her father. Lou was a unique and lovable character that you could not get enough of his antics and personality. He and Dottie built a wonderful business that has fostered countless friendships and relationships. Without him many lives would not be as complete as they are today. He was an icon in Elfers and an overall great human being….he will be missed. Rest In Peace Lou and I am so happy you are reunited with your beloved Dottie.
