Margaret Ruth Clark McCoon, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026, at the age of 86.

Margaret was born on October 6, 1939, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Lonnie and Mayme Clark. In 1979, she moved to Florida from Cincinnati, Ohio, where she made her home and created many cherished memories.

Margaret was known for her sweet and kind spirit. She had a gentle heart and was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love for Jesus was an important part of her life. She enjoyed attending Bible studies with her friends, growing in her faith, and sharing fellowship with others.

One of Margaret’s favorite Bible verses was Philippians 4:19:
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Her faith, kindness, and love will continue to live on through the family and friends she leaves behind.

Margaret is survived by her beloved son, Gregory McCoon; her grandchildren, Denise and John; and her great-grandchildren, Derek and Elizabeth.

She was a treasured part of her family and will be remembered for her gentle heart, her unwavering love, and the sweetness she brought into the lives of those around her.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered
