Marilyn Louise Sorrento, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, entered eternal life on December 6, 2018 at the age of 80 years. Marilyn was born November 13, 1938 to Leo and Ida Sheehan of Watertown, MA and was a graduate of Watertown High School.

Marilyn had a love for life and travel, and enjoyed spending time on the water in her kayak with her friends and family. She also had a special place in her heart for her animals who provided her companionship throughout her life.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Dawn Sorrento; son Rick Sorrento and his wife Paula, and her grandchildren Madison Miller and Jaden Sorrento; son Jeff Sorrento and his partner Arthur Strassle; and daughter Melissa Sorrento.

Marilyn wished for everyone to honor her memory in their own way, so there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Marilyn’s name can be made to The American Cancer Society (cancer.org) and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (aspca.org)
