Marty Hubbs passed on November 28, 2025.  Marty was a loving mother and adoring wife to Perry Hubbs.

Missing You Mom and Nana

Your tenderness and loving ways will get us through lonely days.  We will forever carry your picture in our minds and heart, and the guidance you provided will never be forgotten. Your unconditional ways will forever stand, and your sense of humor was unmatched.  You touched so many lives words cannot describe.  We know you’re with the lord and the angels have you now.

Marty is survived by her two children, three granddaughters, brother, two great grandchildren, and so many friends who she considered family.  May you rest in peace until we meet again our beautiful lady.

My deepest sympathy to her family. I’ve only know Marty a few years, in that time she has been a shoulder for me to cry on. We shared moments that I will always remember. Her loving friendship I will treasure. She touched my heart and will be truly missed.

Having Marty as a dear friend was a treasure to me. When we met about 10 years ago, we bonded immediately. I can’t imagine FL without her. Being kind to others was always her mission in life. I loved her dearly.

My heart is broken at the loss of my dear friend Marty — my “girl,” as she lovingly called me for nearly fifty years. We met as young mothers in the 70s, raising our children together and sharing laughter, secrets, and even a few mischievous adventures.
Though life took us in different directions, she was always in my heart. I am so grateful I was able to visit her this past June for her 80th birthday — I never imagined it would be our last time together.
Marty was strong, warm, resilient, and adored and was devoted to her family. I will miss her voice, her humor, her kindness, and the bond we always shared.
Rest peacefully, my dear friend. I will carry you with me always.

Dear Family of Martha Kay,

I am a first cousin of Martha Kay, but while she left Iowa for Florida, I went to Washington State. As far apart as possible. We were lucky to see her and Perry when we visited Aunt Sally, so yes, eons ago.

She sounds like she was well loved, all you can ask for in this world.

Wishing you peace as you live your new normal.
