Melchiorre Margiotta, the beloved father of four children, Manny Margiotta (Christine), Stefano Margiotta (Lisa), Rosann Brandon (Victor) and Maria Mastrovasilis (Pete); and abundantly loved ‘Poppi,’ of 11 grandchildren whom he adored unconditionally, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 13, 2021. Born on January 23, 1946 in Palermo, Sicily, that is where he resided for a short duration of his life, before traveling to the US alongside his sister at a young age. New York, was the initial destination of his travels to America and shortly after his arrival, he met the love of his life and wife of 48 years, Maria. Together, they faithfully raised their growing family in the city of Brooklyn, before relocating to Florida in July of 1988, where they resided for the remainder of their days until The Lord has called them home.

Your father was the sweetest man! He had such a kind nature and a contagious smile.
