Michael Lynn Pfannenstiel, age 66, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the Medical Center of Trinity Hospital in New Port Richey, Fl.
Mr. Pfannenstiel was born on September 15, 1953 in Brunswick, Ga., to parents Joseph Robert Pfannenstiel and Donna J. Pfannenstiel. He grew up the eldest of 3 brothers. He graduated in 1971 from Central High School in Davenport, IA.; He married Vicki Pfannenstiel (Kennison) on August 20, 1977 at the First United Methodist Church of Rock Island. He and his family moved to Florida in 1982. He has mainly worked in the construction industry, most recently being with Alto Construction Company as a Field Project Manager. He loved his job and the people he worked with.
Mr. Pfannenstiel was a great family man and a loving father. He enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends. He also enjoyed nice cars, singing, playing guitar, watching baseball, football and car races. Prior to his move to Florida he played lead guitarist and lead singer in several bands.
His family and friends will always remember him as an outgoing, funny, kind family man.
Mr. Pfannenstiel is survived by his wife, Vicki Pfannenstiel, of New Port Richey, Fl.; his daughter, Stephanie Moon and son in law Ronald Moon, of New Port Richey, Fl.; his son, Corey Pfannenstiel, of New Port Richey, Fl.; his mother, Donna J. Pfannenstiel (Moyers) of Davenport, IA.; his 2 brothers, Stephen Pfannenstiel and wife Laurie Pfannenstiel, of Davenport, IA. and Mark Pfannenstiel, of Wellington, Fl.; his grandson Maxwell Moon, of New Port Richey, Fl. and many nieces and nephews; He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Robert Pfannenstiel, of Davenport, IA.
