Muriel J. Tyner, 93, of New Port Richey, Florida (formerly a resident of Tarpon Springs, Florida for many years), passed away on on August 17th, 2026.

Muriel is survived by her four children, Linda Alexander and her husband Jack; Susan Trembal and her husband Jack; Laura Van Rhee and her husband Bob; and David Tyner and his wife Lori. She was also blessed with four grandchildren: Alexa Price, Megan Fox, Austen Tyner, and Brooke Bruno. Her family grew to include six great grandchildren: Paris Bajza and Jade Imely, Bruce and Gwen Fox, Oliver and Luca Bruno; and two great-great grandchildren, Camden and Walker Bajza.  Predeceased by her husband Earl Tyner.

At the age of twelve, Muriel was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and remained active throughout her entire life until her recent passing.  She loved sharing bible truths with her neighbors and friends.

After graduating in 1951, Muriel moved from her home in Coventry, NY  to Largo, Florida where she met her late husband Earl Tyner and married in 1952.  Muriel never imagined she would one day be a rancher’s wife but she embraced farm life with resilience and heart. In 1957 they purchased a beautiful property in Tarpon Springs  naming it Green Valley Farm, which is now known as Cypress Run Golfing Community.

Muriel had many wonderful qualities evident in managing life on the ranch and raising four children.  Of greatest importance to Muriel, was her faithfulness to her God, Jehovah, and her love for the scriptures.

She instilled in each of her children a deep appreciation for spiritual values, encouraging them to build their own relationship with Jehovah and to cherish the priceless gift of the ransom sacrifice provided thru his son, Jesus Christ.

Muriel’s family offers their sincere gratitude for the heartfelt expressions of comfort and support from everyone during this time.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 4:00 pm. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1209 E Oakwood St.,Tarpon Springs, FL 34689.
