Naida Clione Lucchi (Pennington), passed away on June 14, 2018 after a prolonged illness. Naida is survived by her beloved sister, Patricia Graf (Pennington), her three children, Laura Michelle Oliver, Gina Diane Lucchi, and Stephen Antony Lucchi, and her cherished grandchildren, Sophia Amor Lucchi and Dominic Orion Lucchi.
Naida was born on June 7, 1938 in Princeton, West Virginia; she was the first child of Thelma â€œPennyâ€ Pennington-Powell and Arnold Curtis Pennington. Naidaâ€™s two brothers, Michael Wayne Pennington and Everett Eugene Pennington are deceased.
After graduating from Princeton High School, Naida moved to Detroit, Michigan. Naida had a successful 40-year career with Henry Ford Health System retiring as Construction Manager. She led the construction of new Henry Ford patient clinics in Sterling Heights, Troy, Bloomfield Hills, Novi and other Michigan sites.
Naida will be interred on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Resthaven Cemetery located in Princeton, West Virginia.
