FOX, NITA, age 84 of Hudson, Florida, died June 27, 2018, peacefully at home. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cal Fox. Nita was born in York, England. She became a US citizen in December 1957. She loved her new country and worked as a dedicated civil servant for 31 years. Nita's passions were her friends, faith and quilting. She never met a stranger! In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army Domestic Violence Program of Pasco County.

Although I only met Nita this past year (2018) I felt like I had known her forever. I could of spoken to her for hours as I loved listening to her English accent. I met her at St. Martin’s church through the Outreach program there, a program that was near and dear to her heart. I sat with her one Wednesday afternoon when they met for Outreach and I was fortunate to get some history of her life and where she lived before she came to America. I continued our friendship when I returned back to Connecticut by calling and writing her letters and I even received a few back from her until she took ill. I prayed for her recovery everyday but in my heart I knew that if she could not return to the things that she loved doing the most she would give in, let go, and return to her maker.
Nita was quick witted, funny, and Loved all people. She was kind, caring, and wanted to help those in need. She was a leader, a strong person, very outspoken, got right to the point and got things done. She spent many hours making quilts and collecting items for those who were misfortunate so they could have something special and new in there life. And she did that for many years.
She will be missed by many, but God has a beautiful Angel up above now.
Rest In Peace Ms. Nita, I only wish we had more time together, but I feel blessed that I have gotten to know you and was able to spend some time with you.
