July 14, 1969~June 07, 2026

Odette G. Messina, age 56, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on June 7, 2026.

Born on Staten Island, New York, Odette graduated from McKee High School and went on to build a long and dedicated career with Aon Corporation in the Merger & Acquisitions Billing & Operations Department, where she worked for 18 years. She was also a licensed cosmetologist for more than 30 years, bringing creativity, care, and a generous spirit to everything she touched.

Odette (Odie) was a proud member of Wicked Heels MC NY for the past five years. Before that, she rode with Rolling Thunder Chapter 2. She was a fierce and fearless rider.

In March 2023, Odette began a new chapter in Florida, embracing the warmth of family, friends, and the sunshine she loved so deeply.

Odette had an infectious smile that could light up a room. To know her was to love her. She loved cooking Sunday dinner, feeding anyone that showed up. “Don’t bring anything, I’ve got it”, that is what you’d hear.

A loud New Yorker, a force to be reckoned with, a sweet, kind, loving and caring soul that always wanted to help and expected nothing in return.

Odette is survived by her father and stepmother, Stephen and Patricia Messina; her brothers, Stephen Messina and Thomas (Maria) Messina; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; her beloved fur babies; and countless friends whose lives were brightened by her beautiful smile and presence.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Odette G. “Momma O” Monico Messina, who passed away on September 29, 2021. Reunited once again, they will surely keep Heaven roaring with laughter — and a little sass.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Odette’s name may be made to a local animal rescue or shelter — a tribute she would have loved.

I had the pleasure of meeting Odette through her cousin Laura. From the time we met she made me feel like I had just made a friend she was so, for lack of a better words colorful and outgoing. I love how she would always be quick to smile, laugh and speak her mind. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends; she will be greatly missed.

Odette, my “Phyllis”. I sit here, still in disbelief. I miss our daily 10 phone calls, dozens of daily text messages, your foul mouth “Good f’n Morning my cuz”. I have loved spending the last 3.5 year with you. You drove me crazy!! I still wouldn’t change anything about our time. It was me leaning on you, you leaning on me; going for Dunkin’, going on road trips, just sitting at our houses shooting the sh*t. I will miss it, all of it.

I love you and I miss you so much. I hope you knew how much you meant to me and to everyone that had the pleasure of meeting you. For those that didn’t get the chance, tough luck on them. They really missed out.

I will hold our memories close. Our Dad’s brought us together and together we shall remain. Chosen family.

Give Momma O, my Mom and Dad, and Phantom a hug and kiss from me. I bet they were all shocked to see you. It’s their turn to laugh with you again.

Until we meet again, rest peacefully XOXO
