Paul J Boggs died On May 26th surrounded by his family after a battle with several health issues.

Paul was born in a little cabin in Christy Creek Kentucky.

He wa preceeded in death by his parents, Leonard (Burl) Boggs & Lalie Mae Clark Boggs and older brother Bethal Rae Boggs

Paul lived in Kentucky till the age of 12 and when his parents divorced he moved with his father to Springfield Ohio where he practically raised himself until he met Millie.

Paul graduated from South High School in Springfield and attended Central State college and Wittenburg University.

On October 21st 1961 Paul Married the love of his life Mildred (Millie) Hutchins.  He had aspirations of being an attorney but after 3 years of marriage his daughter Laura Ann was born and he gave up that dream to provide for his family.

He was very proud of being a Mason for over 50 years as a member of St. Andrews Lodge. He worked as a machinist for Robbins and Myers for 18 years and due to declining eyesight he retired at the age of 35 and moved to Holiday, FL

In 1980 he and Millie welcomed a son, Michael Paul Boggs.  While retired they enjoyed traveling and going to events for their children.  Paul enjoyed working all day in the yard and at night sitting outside drinking coffee and chatting with whoever came by.

Paul is survived by his wife Millie of 61 years, brother Eldon Boggs of Michigan, daughter Laura (Boggs) Fink and Son-in Law Allen Fink, Mike Boggs and Daughter-In-Law Jennifer (Riggs) Boggs, Seven grandchildren:  Jessica (Fink) Gardner, (David), Brian Fink, Julia Jaramillo, Evelyn,  Rosaleen, Joseph, and Annabelle Boggs. Great granddaughters:  Ella, Emilia, and baby Gardner on the way.

Paul will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He will be greatly missed by many.

 

Visitation will be held May 29th at Dobies Funeral home Holiday, FL from 2-4

At 3:00 a brief remembrance service will be held.

Paul will be taken back to Ohio and services will be at Littleton and Rue Funeral Home, Springfield OH,  May 31st from 10-11 service at 11.

Burial at Rose Hill Cemetary on June 1st at 10:30 A.M.
