Luikart, Phil
66, born and raised in New Port Richey, lost his battle with lung fibrosis June 29, 2018. He leaves behind his wife, Molly; brothers, Dave and Steve (Nancy); nieces, Jamie, Christy and Shawna; nephews, Steve and Dave. Phil was retired from Pasco County Schools. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, spending time with family and his beloved dog, Luke. Phil was never a stranger to anyone he met, his sense of humor, wit, wisdom, and positive outlook on life will be missed. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. His last wishes: Tell those you care about how much you love them and give them a big hug. Special appreciation to Gulfside Hospice, especially Maryann and Darlene, Phil’s guardian angels.

Sorry for your loss, may his memory be kept alive with the tales of Phil stories that may eventually dull the pain and bring a smile to the harts of his loved ones and friends while he is being remembered.

My thoughts and prayers are with Molly,Steve and Dave and their family.Phil took me to homecoming when I was on the court in High School. I will always remember his humor and kindness. He never met a stranger. May his family always think of the good times. Rest in peace gentle soul.
