Meadows, Polly 89, Tarpon Springs passed Oct. 31, 2019, at the age of 89. She is survived by brothers and sister-in-laws: John & Joyce, Gregg & Delores, Neil & Emily, Michael & Linda, and Steve Vaughan, and her daughters and son-in-law; Carla Meadows & Chris Ceraso, Lisa and Randy Bristol, and Gayne and Bob Roberts along with her 2 grandsons, Will and Matthew Bristol, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Polly was a resident of Tarpon Springs for fifty-eight years. She was a retired registered nurse and a Veteran of the U.S. air force, where she also served as an officer nurse. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and her yard, and played bridge with the same club for nearly fifty years. She will be fondly missed by family and friends. There will be a memorial service on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 11 AM. Polly will return to her childhood home of South Carolina to be buried at a later date next to her mother and other relatives, per her wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Suncoast Hospice or the Alzheimer's Disease Research Association. So sorry to hear of Polly passing. We worked together for several years at Meade hospital where she was our diabetes educator. I always had great respect for her knowlege and drive to improve the lives of her patients. God speed Polly!
