It is with a completely broken heart and a devastated family, that we announce the unexpected passing of Robert (Bob) Michael Ficarro. He passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019, at age 64. He was born in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, on March 26, 1965. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Ann, brothers, Ben, Chuck, and Mike, children, Jessica, Meghan, Alex, and Tristan, and granddaughter, Aaray. He could never be explained in words as his love and his positive energy are too great to be contained in a few lines. But, he lived, loved, and breathed for his family. He was the type of father that could work a fifty hour week and still make time to spend quality time with all four of his children. He was a father that would drop everything immediately to help his children no matter what it was. He was his wife’s best friend and partner in life. He showered her with love, respect, and laughs. With him, she knew she was heard, beautiful, and safe. He approached everyone with a playful and warm attitude; always looking to make a stranger laugh. He was a positive force in life that never judged. He accepted you as you were and always looked to help. He committed 21 years of his life working at MI Homes where he was known for his dedication, leadership, and quality of work. Friends, MI Homes family, and others whose lives Bob touched are invited to the Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home, 6616 Congress Street, New Port Richey, FL, 34653, from 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, to honor and celebrate an amazing man. A celebration of Bob’s life will take place following the service. We all miss you and love you, Bob. You will never be forgotten and will forever remain the warmth we feel in our hearts.

Annie – My condolences to you and your family for the loss of such a special person. Even though I hadn’t talked to Bob in such a long time I never forgot what he meant to me. He took a person like me and got me to move to Texas with him for work back in 1981. That same year Bob also saved my life from drowning in a Texas river. Bob was very important in shaping the person I am today. I was lucky to have him as a friend and to be able to work with and learn from him. I regret not staying in touch with Bob because he was one of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. Rest in Peace.
