Robert Ullman Redfield, 63, of Tarpon Springs, FL, passed away peacefully on March 21st, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on September 22nd, 1962 in Doylestown, PA. He eventually settled down in Florida after marrying his high school sweetheart and love of his life in California, and convincing her to embark on several exciting moves. Bob spent time working his way up through Catalina Marketing where he eventually became Vice President of Operations. Lifelong friendships and connections would land him his final role at Prometric where he was a Senior Manager of Tech Operations. He was known above all as being a devoted husband and father. Bob’s most cherished days were spent on the boat as a family at Honeymoon island—grilling burgers and dogs, concocting the perfect playlist, sharing an ice cold beer, and convincing everyone to stay for sunset. Bob had a unique way of lighting up every room he walked in and immediately filling it with laughter. He could turn any moment into something unforgettable, usually an inside joke to be laughed about for years to come. His humor, selflessness, and resilient spirit will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his wife Deborah A. Redfield; children Melissa Redfield and Robert Redfield; mother Martha Redfield; siblings Brenda K. Redfield, Thomas Redfield and Joe Redfield; sister-in-law Leslie Redfield; as well as nephew Joseph Redfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas H. Redfield.
“To honor Bob’s life and legacy”, donations may be made to Friends of the Island to support the restoration and preservation of the place he loved dearly.

I was so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Although I didn’t work with him long, I had the good fortune to travel with him and enjoy his company and good humor. Bob was always kind and patient, and he had the talent to turn a difficult situation into a rewarding one. I will miss Bob greatly and wish his family strength in these difficult days.

Bob was my direct manager for a few months but we worked closely, someone I truly looked up to like a father figure. I actually teared when he mentioned ‘you are like a daughter to me, I want the best for you’ when I moved team. I didn’t realize just how much he had inspired me until I heard the news and started replaying all our conversations and reading all the Teams messages.
What I remember most is his calmness and that warm smile he always carried. Not once did he show his anger or frustration to anyone. Instead, he was always the first person to say something encouraging, the first to openly appreciate someone.
These past few days have been strange. Grief is weird. I am sure each of us is remembering Bob in our own way, because he touched so many lives both directly and indirectly. For me, what keeps coming back into my mind is his smile. Somehow, that also reminds me to keep going.
Bob, I miss you so very much. Thank you for the kindness and the example you have set. You will always be remembered <3

Bob was a wonderful human being with an exceptional personality. I always cherished our conversations—especially those shared over food and stories of his past travels to India. Although I was new to his team, he consistently gave me the space and encouragement to try new things.
I only wish I had more time and opportunities to learn from him and know him better. you will truly be missed.

I’m deeply saddened by the news of Bob’s passing.
I had the privilege of reporting to Bob for almost a year, and during that time, I worked very closely with him. He was not only a great leader but also one of the most respected mentors in my career. He taught me invaluable leadership values and was always there to lift my spirits, especially during challenging moments in the ProProctor War Room.
I will always remember the energy he brought especially during LSAC War Rooms. No matter how long the hours were, he stayed engaged, kept the team motivated with his humor, and ensured we stayed focused. He was always among the first to join check-in meetings, making sure everything was on track.
It will be incredibly difficult and different going into the June LSAC administration without him.
I will never forget the time we spent together in Zimbabwe especially that night at 2 AM at the Granite (satellite) site, after setting up the workstations and figuring out our way back to the hotel. Moments like that taught me how to handle situations calmly and with confidence lessons I will carry with me throughout my career.
Thank you, Bob. It was truly an honor to work with you.
My thoughts and prayers are with him. May his soul rest in peace.

Although I did not have the chance to share many work with Bob for a long time, he was someone who could brighten every weekly meeting—his humor brought joy to everyone and lifted the mood effortlessly.
In Eastern philosophy, those born on September 22, 1962 are said to carry the energy of the vast ocean, the tiger, and the growing tree. They are believed to have a broad perspective, a flexible mindset, a strong sense of justice, and a gentle yet adaptable nature. From what I experienced, he truly embodied these qualities.
Even though our time working together was short, it was genuinely enjoyable and meaningful.
May he rest peacefully in a world free from pain.

So sorry other of Bob’s passing. I worked with him at Catalina and we lived close by in New Jersey. He had a quick wit and was always in a good mood. He enjoyed life with his family and friends. We made many trips to Turvino’s or the food court for lunch. He will be missed.

Even though we only worked together over the past two years, I am truly going to miss him. Hearing his voice on our daily 7AM calls became a steady, reassuring part of my routine, and it is something I will miss deeply. Those early conversations set the tone for the day and always reflected his dedication and consistency. Thank you for showing up with the same calm presence and commitment, day after day.
He was a great support to me, especially as I learned his part of the business. His willingness to explain, guide, and share his perspective made a real difference, and I will always be grateful. You will be remembered with gratitude and warmth. Rest in peace, my friend.
To his family, please accept my deepest condolences. May you find comfort in the love and memories he shared.
