Roger Joseph LaFirira
After a courageous fight with lung cancer he has gone to be at peace with God. He was born on February 7th, 1933 in Barre, VT. Later years he moved to Florida and Michigan finally retiring to Florida.
He joined the Army in January 1952 and was a very proud Korean War veteran. He married Betty Jean Beede on September 24th, 1955 and had three children Susan, Eugene and Theresa; six grandchildren Jeanne, Denise, Dennis, Tara, Eugene and Roger. They were also blessed with thirteen great-grandchildren. Sister Gloria Winters lives in Williamstown, VT and he has many nieces and nephews all over the country.
Services will be at Aripeka Baptist Church, Aripeka, FL on June 6th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
