Roger Joseph LaFirira

After a courageous fight with lung cancer he has gone to be at peace with God.  He was born on February 7^th, 1933 in Barre, VT.  Later years he moved to Florida and Michigan finally retiring to Florida.

He joined the Army in January 1952 and was a very proud Korean War veteran.  He married Betty Jean Beede on September 24^th, 1955 and had three children Susan, Eugene and Theresa; six grandchildren Jeanne, Denise, Dennis, Tara, Eugene and Roger.  They were also blessed with thirteen great-grandchildren.  Sister Gloria Winters lives in Williamstown, VT and he has many nieces and nephews all over the country.

Services will be at Aripeka Baptist Church, Aripeka, FL on June 6^th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
