Rosemary E. Montgomery, 77, passed away on March 26, 2026, in New Port Richey, Florida. She was formerly of Toms River, New Jersey.
Rosemary was the beloved wife of 40 years to Gary Montgomery, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and family.
She is survived by her loving children: Carl (Bernadette) of Tampa, Florida; Brian (Marianne) of Carlsbad, California; and Joe (Denise) of Audubon, Pennsylvania. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Gabriella, Anthony, Dean, Evora, Lauren, and Claire, who brought her immense joy.
She is also survived by her dear goddaughter, Maggie Nelson of Toms River, New Jersey, and her niece, Christine Wagner of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Rosemary was predeceased by her brother, Robert T. Holritz.
She dedicated more than 25 years of her career to United Airlines, where she served as a flight attendant, on board supervisor and later in labor relations. She was known for her strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to those she worked alongside.
Rosemary will be remembered for her love of family, her warmth, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosemary’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or ASPCA. Rosemary was a lifelong supporter of both organizations.

Dear family,… I’m a 50 year flight attendant and i remember Rosemary very well while based aT EWR. .. she was very helpful and supportive of others when she was a supervisor at United..and she actually saved my job a long time ago.
