Rosemary (Rosie) Peterson died peacefully on Dec 8, 2019 in New Port Richey, FL.

Rosemary is survived by her brother Bob Colling (Karen) WA; her children: Kathleen Kielty, FL; Rod Kielty (Mary) FL; Roger Kielty (Kay), FL; Cheryl Herman (Randy) ND; Susan Kielty-O Neill (Mike) FL; Bob Kielty (Brenda) ID; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Nellie Colling and three brothers Rusty, Maurice, and Bill Colling.

Rosemary was born on Oct 28, 1927 in Jamestown, ND. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Bismarck, ND and married her high school sweetheart, James Kielty. She remarried in 1970 to Ken Peterson of Carson, ND.

Rosemary was a cosmetologist, teacher and business owner over a period of 36 years. She finally retired at age 75 and sold her business.

Her six children remember her as a beautiful, kind, and feisty mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Rosemary was a generous and witty person who loved her family passionately. She was dedicated to the Catholic Church and was a breast cancer survivor.

A funeral is for Saturday Dec 28 at 2 PM at Dobies Funeral Home, Congress St, New Port Richey.
