Sam Serluco, 93, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away on January 22, 2021. He is survived by his sons: Ron (Donna) Serluco of Geneva, IL. James (Kim) Serluco of Parma, OH. Chris Serluco of Parma, OH.; five grandchildren: Breana (Kurtis) Miller of Batavia, IL. Sean (Sharif) Serluco of Chicago, IL. Alex (Jessica) Serluco of Geneva, IL. Craig (Natalya) Serluco of New York, NY. Maggie (Justin) Messina of Parma, OH.; great-grandchildren: Jaxson Messina, Maverick Messina, and Mia Miller. Sam was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie, of over 60 years, his brother Dominic, and his parents (Chris and Caroline).
Sam was the past President of the Ferrel Park II Condo Association in Palm Harbor, and a former Jockey Agent at Tampa Bay Downs and other Thoroughbred Race Tracks across the country for over 40 years. Sam enjoyed golf, fishing, going to the track, but most of all just talking to people and telling a good “story” or two. In his later years, he enjoyed just getting in the car and taking a “ride” each day with Dottie.

A celebration of life will be held at Tampa Bay Downs in Oldsmar, FL. Placement will take place at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Rd., Elwood, IL 60421
