Shawn P. Skerritt, 53, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on August 4th, 2022. He is survived by his wife Shana Skerritt; children Jennifer Skerritt, Kaitlyn Danley, Samantha Obey, and Shawn Skerritt Jr.; three grandchildren; as well as four sisters Georgette Ferko, Colleen Clark, Denise Skerritt, and Antoinette Becht.

Shawn, you are and always will be my all time favorite person. You are my soulmate and best friend. There are no words to describe the immense pain I feel not having you here with me. You were called home. I know you have found the peace you couldn’t find here on earth. Wait patiently for me until I join you in paradise. I love you with all my heart.

Shawn, we met many times when I worked nightshift with your beautiful wife. Her love for you was always present, her love story told and re told. Funny when we first met in person at my home you went on and on bragging about your Shana. That is the legacy you leave behind the love of your family. I am sorry that your days and nights here on earth have been cut short, but I know you will continue to watch over your family as they keep your spirit alive till you are all together again. RIP
