Theresa L. Benton 71, was born March 3rd, 1947 in West Warwick, Rhode Island,died in her home in Florida May 14th, 2018 after a long-term illness. She was a semi-native having moved to Fl in 1980. Theresa leaves behind long-time friends and many extended and immediate family members including husband Michael W. Benton, brothers Robert and Albert DeBlois, niece Nicole Totten and nephew Stephen DeBlois. Her death was preceded by the passing in 2003 of her father Joseph A. DeBlois and Mother Jeanne DeBlois in 2005. Theresa attended school in Rhode Island and worked for several Fl. companies as an office manager or administrator. She was a clown from the Morton Plant clown school. She was a magnet for children and animals. Always willing to lend a hand, humor and a smile. A kind and gentle soul who was a light in the darkness of life, she will be dearly missed by all. Memorial Service 10 am May 26th, 2018 at St Vincent de Paul Church, Holiday, Fl.
