Troy L. Davis, 43, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on December 11th, 2025. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Davis; stepdaughter Kaylynn Pinegar; brothers Todd Davis and Richard Capps; father William Davis; as well as grandmother Sue Dyke.

Please accept my sincere condolences I knew Troy “Tater” for many years at Tampa Bay Downs. He was always a ray of sunshine. His infectious smile caught on no matter how bad of a day I was having. I can’t tell you how upset I was to learn of his passing. RIP, Tater.
