October 23, 1940~October 19, 2023

Vincent F. Kuziomko, 82, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on October 19th, 2023. He is survived by his wife Letecia Kuziomko; children Christina (son-in-law Mick) Thomas, John (daughter-in-law Leah) Kuziomko, and Joseph Kuziomko; as well as his grandchildren Candice, Kyle, Violet, Adelina

Vince was born on October 23rd, 1940 in Poland to Marion and Anastasia Kuziomko. Five years later his younger brother Jon was born. Vince and his family migrated to the United States after being liberated  from a German labor camp.

Vince grew up in Hempstead New York, and graduated in 1959, from Hempstead High School. During that time he went by “Vinny”, as many of his friends addressed letters and photos to him by this nickname. He and his good friend Angelo Gargano have kept in contact ever since. They were quite the jokesters and according to Angelo, he had a way with words and charming the ladies.

He married his first wife Janna Barone, in August of 1962. His daughter Laura Kuziomko (Meza) was born in September of 1964. A few years later, his daughter Christina Kuziomko (Thomas) was born in January 1968. They lived in Point Arena, CA and then moved to the town of Sunnymead (Moreno Valley), CA in 1968.

Vince joined the United States Air Force in 1962, which he turned into his honorable career. He was stationed at Keesler AFB in Mississippi, Point Arena Air Site in California, March AFB in Sunnymead CA. He also spent time overseas at Thule Air Force Base in Greenland (1968), Korea, and Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. He retired from the USAF in 1983 as a Tech Sergeant.

While stationed in the Philippines, Vince met his beloved wife, Leticia in 1980. A few years later, they were married in December of 1983. They had two sons: John Kuziomko, born in November of 1983, and Joseph Kuziomko was born in October of 1984. They lived in Holiday, FL and later moved to New Port Richey, FL where he and Letty resided for over 23 years.

Vince was always happy to lend a helping hand and was always a man of his word. He enjoyed  starting  conversations with anyone! He did a lot of volunteer and charity work, including the many years he helped the Boy Scouts and the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed projects and handiwork.

He loved deeply, and cherished many great friendships. Vince was a man of God. He loved his family dearly and made sure they knew it. He never missed a birthday.

Vince was preceded in death by his Father Marion, Mother Anastasia, Brother Jon, and Daughter Laura.

He will be missed and always remembered.

“In the wake of every morn’,
Angels will appear,
They will be silent and serene,
Know, they are always near.

They are our family and our friends,
Those we have lost along the way,
Flying high above us,
Never leading us astray.

Though our hearts are heavy,
With sadness and with grief,
Know our dear loved ones,
Are truly never out of reach.

There will be tears and sadness,
Memories of all kinds,
Grief and sorrow,
Thoughts that will never escape our minds.

Never take for granted,
The friend we lost today,
Know their wings have been given,
But they will never fly far away.

Maybe it will be a gentle breeze,
Or a lapping ocean wave,
Their spirit remains within us,
Each and every day.”

We will miss you Vinny but I know that you will always be looking down on us. Until we meet again, God speed.

Praying for peace and comfort, and sending my love across the miles. I’m so sorry I can’t be there.
