New Port Richey, FL – Mrs. Virginia Dare Hendrix Slade, wife of Frank A. Slade and daughter of the late Bernard S. Hendrix and Farris King Hendrix, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2018. She retired as elementary school teacher in order to raise her children. She loved her family and animals. She was survived by her sister Darlene Miller, her sister Dixie Bralley, her brothers Rocky and Bernie Hendrix, her daughter Susan and son-in law Marcelo, her son David and daughter-in-law Brianne and her son Brian. Her beloved grandchildren, Diego, Daniel, Pilar, Zack, Devan, Drake, Colt and Raygan will miss her dearly. We will miss your strength and your sense of humor. Love you mom!
