Padgitt, William A. “Bill,” 80, of Hudson, Florida, passed away on July 30, 2026.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Bill graduated from Liberty High School in 1964. He entered the United States Navy in 1966 and served honorably during the Vietnam War as an Engineman Second Class, a role that reflected his skill, dedication, and commitment to his fellow sailors. Following his military service, he retired as an electrician from Ohio Edison Electric Company in Wadsworth, Ohio, where he advanced to a leadership position and was widely respected for his exceptional expertise as an electrician.

Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol; his parents, William and Doris; his grandson, Jeremy; and his faithful companion, Peppy. He is survived by his children, Eric (Wendy), Allan (Taylor), and Cindy (Co) Quan; his brother, Gary; his grandchildren, Kayla Padgitt, Alan and Amy Carrington, and David and Monica Quan; and his great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Aubrey, Melania, and Wesley.

Bill will be deeply missed by his family, many friends, and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HPH Hospice, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34667.

I am saddened that Bill has passed. I have so many good memories about all the neighborhood get togethers over the years. Prayers to his family. Now he is with Carol and Peppy and I am sure he is smiling. Rest in peace Bill!
