William (Willis, Willy, Bill, Billy, Buck) Laverne Gill
August 16, 1954 – May 30, 2026
Bill Gill, 71, of New Port Richey, FL passed away May 30, 2026 peacefully.
He is survived by wife Gail M. Gill; son Don DiBucci (Wendy); daughter Danielle (Gill) Key (Ryan); grandchildren Donald Jack “DJ” DiBucci (spouse and children), Alexis Fowler (spouse and children), Nathan DiBucci (spouse and children) and Dayja Key; siblings Roxanne (Gill) Johnston, Douglas Gill, Jodean (Gill) Battersby and Larry Gill.
He loved NASCAR, modified racing, golfing, working on cars and houses, and helping everyone and anyone that needed a hand.
He had so many friends and family and he knew we all loved and will continue to love him.
Celebration of life at Webb Mills Fire Station coming later this summer, details to come.

Dear Dad,
I am so angry
When they told me I couldn’t give you a kidney because I had a high chance of getting diabetes I should have fought more. Not that I wanted you to get that but at least you would still be here. We could have fought that battle together.
I will never get over you getting pneumonia and the kidney virus that caused the lung fibrosis.
I am trying to remember that we had 3 more years together in FL and I made sure to spend time and talk with you as much as possible.
We will always have Lazy Lizards, Pizza Joes, and the parties at your place with the gang which Mom and I will continue to do. ♥
For now, I am hoping you are in Edgewater watching the modified races with your friends; I need to think that for a while to get me through. Thanks for giving me a wonderful life.
